Butters / Professor Chaos!

A few months ago, while I was playing Diablo 3 with my husband and a friend, Sean, he got an item that I was interested in. So I told him that I would like it and asked him what he would like in exchange.
His answer was:
"Can you crochet me Professor Chaos?"

I actually had no idea who Professor Chaos was, but thanks to the interwebz it was easy to find some pictures. Here is the pattern of what I made for him, a little Butters/Professor Chaos!

I made one and wrote the pattern as I went, however I didn't get the time to try it again. If you find some errors, please let me know and I'll update the pattern.

Requirements:

  • Crochet Hook F (3,75mm) or G (4,25mm) depending on size preferences
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Little of Beige, Teal, Black, Green and YellowYarn
  • White Felt
  • Black and white thread
  • Stuffing

Abbreviations / Terminology used:

  • st: stitch
  • sc: single crochet
  • fsc: foundation single crochet
  • 2 sc in next st (increase)
  • 2 sctog: 2 single crochet together (decrease)

Head (Beige Yarn):

Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Round 2: 2 sc in each st around (12)
Round 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (18)
Round 4: *2 sc, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (24)
Round 5: *3 sc, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (30)
Round 6: *4 sc, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (36)

Round 14: *1 sc, sctog* repeat around (12) (add stuffing)
Round 15: *sctog* repeat around (6) (finish stuffing the head if needed)
Close and Finish off leaving tail for sewing

Body/Pants/Feet:

Feet:
Round 1: (Black Yarn) 5 fsc, 3 sc in turn, 4 sc, 2 sc in turn (14)
Round 2: 2 sc in each of the 3 st forming each turn, sc in the others (20)

Rounds 6-9: (Teal Yarn) sc around (20)
Finish off

Arms:
Round 1: (Beige Yarn) 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Round 2: *2 sc, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (8)
Rounds 3-6: (Teal Yarn) sc around (8)
Finish off leaving tail for sewing

Hair (kinda went with the flow so it's just a rough guideline and hopefully it's not too confusing):
With Yellow Yarn, 6 sc in magic ring then:
In first sc: 4 fsc, 4 ss on the other side
In second sc: 4 fsc, 4 ss on the other side
In third sc: 3 fsc, 3 ss on the other side
In fourth sc: 4 fsc, 4 ss on the other side
In fifth sc: 3 fsc, 3 ss on the other side
In sixth sc: 3 fsc, 3 ss on the other side

Assembly line (use pictures to guide you).

Use a little piece of black yarn to add the line for the mouth.
Cut two little ovals in the white felt for the eyes, saw them in with white thread around, and add the pupil with black thread.
Attach the hair to the head. Attach the arms to the body. Add a little black line on the chest to create the "shirt opening". And here it is!

Butters is now created, to transform him into Professor Chaos, shape some foil for his hands and helmet.

Below you can see how my husband did the foil accessories :) Isn't he cute?!
