Halloween's skulls pink dresses

Today a trick-or-treat event was organized at work and there was a lot of little munchkins dressed up for the occasion, from the numerous Elsa to the Star Wars characters, to witches and pirates walking along firefighters and pandas, and superheroes stocking up on candies for recharging their power; it was a really colorful and lively moment.

I hesitated too long in what I wanted the girls to be dressed up as, that I ended up not knowing what to decide and went with handmade dresses. I found a really cute fabric at the store, with skulls on pink, that I paired with crocheted tops.

Oooooh! Pretty!

My friend Anne-Sophie saved me again by sewing the fabric with her machine, and here are some pictures of our collaboration.

I didn't manage to snap a decent picture of the girls wearing the dresses, so miss Beary accepted to model for us.

This was yet another fun experiment with crochet and fabric together. Now... time to make more :)

Butterfly bag

Today was the first birthday of our friend's daughter and I thought about making another little purse. This time, my friend Anne-Sophie helped me with sewing the sides of the inside lining with her machine and it made the whole operation must faster. Thank you again :)

I found a nice fabric with butterflies to compliment the applique, and the light blue color matched the variegated yarn that I used nicely. The fabric also has a little bit of glitters, I couldn't have asked for more!

One more bag done... Too many still to go :)
